
Dayton Icehounds Youth Hockey
The Dayton Icehounds will be holding evaluations for Travel teams for the 2023-2024 season. We expect to roster at least one A level team at the 10U, 12U, 14U, and High School levels, and possibly B level teams at 10U and 12U. The exact number of teams and team level of play will be determined by the players available.
Players interested in 8U BTHL and 8U, 10U/12U House League, or Learn to Play do not attend Evaluations.
Get ready for 23-24 team tryouts with our pre-tryout training camp. Run by University of Cincinnati ACHA DII Assistant Coach Steven Perkins with University of Cincinnati Head Coach Taylor Ley and quest players Jack Lammlein and Jacob Vegso.

Our Learn to Play hockey program gives kids the fundamentals of hockey with our Learn to Play Hockey lessons, available for boys and girls ages 4 – mid-teens. Designed to develop a foundation of hockey skating skills and basic stick handling skills in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

The Dayton Icehounds are currently looking for coaches at all age groups and levels of play within our house programs and the Buckeye Travel Hockey League. Please complete this brief form to indicate your coaching interest for the 2023-24 hockey season. We will add you to our contact list as we prepare for the season. All Dayton Icehounds, USA Hockey coaching requirements need to be completed by the expected time frames in order to begin coaching. All applicants must be in good standing with MidAm Youth Hockey and USA Hockey.
The Dayton Icehounds are excited to host USA Hockey Try Hockey for Free events, which gives kids a chance to get on the ice with coaches and give hockey a try… FOR FREE!

Join the Dayton Icehounds for an exciting 7 week Spring Hockey League. Play with and against old and new friends in this fun addition to the hockey season. Teams will be formed to be as competitive as possible based on information collected at registration.
